After upgrading to Windows 11 from Windows 10, Windows Security might not be opening as you expected and would just show the dialog above. There is a quick fix for that. Just follow the instructions below.
Open the Windows PowerShell as Administrator.
Type the following then press Enter.
Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage
This issue was identified as a bug in an earlier release of Windows 11. Microsoft has since addressed the issue, and it should no longer occur in subsequent versions.
